Ovation, America’s only Arts Network, has announced that 13 new non-profit arts and culture organizations have joined its Stand For The Arts Coalition to raise awareness, protect access, and encourage action on behalf of the arts and culture. Since the coalition was established in 2017, over 50 prominent arts organizations, arts educational institutions and artists have lent their support.
“The arts aren’t just vital to the well-being of our communities and the healthy development of our children, they’re also an economic powerhouse. Arts and culture contribute more than $700 billion annually to the U.S. economy. Our Stand For The Arts coalition members know this well and recognize the importance of protecting arts programs throughout the country. We are delighted and excited that this coalition continues to grow and invite others to stand for the arts,” said Liz Janneman, EVP of Network Strategy, Ovation.
