Unlike our other children’s classes, this course will
meet for seven weeks. The class itself is designed to utilize
stimulating and unusual techniques to expose children to their
individual talents through art. The assignments will consist of
sketching, drawing and other various techniques. Tasks are designed
to show students how their work progresses and improves while
they learn to express themselves more completely through art.
Supplies are included in the price of the class.
This class will meet for seven weeks and will continue with
the lessons and principles learned in The Right Brain I. Children
are challenged with new assignments consisting of sketching, drawing
and other various techniques. An introduction to color and life
drawing will be presented. Children will be encouraged to further
explore talent in this unique setting. The Right Brain I is a
prerequisite for this class. Supplies are included in the price
of the class.
Children will have fun as they explore the world of art. Each
class investigates a “hands-on” approach allowing
children to create their own artistic style and expand their talent.
Students will be introduced to drawing, painting, collage, printmaking
and sculpture. Supplies are included in the price of the class.
Focusing on oil, acrylic and watercolor painting, this class
is geared towards children and teens who are interested in continuing
to develop the skills they acquired in Exploring Art I. One on
one direction will be given allowing each student to concentrate
on his or her own individual needs, style and talent.
This class is designed to help teens and young adults fine-tune
their artistic skills and challenge and nurture their talent as
a young artist. Students will learn how to use sketching, shading
and color to create dynamic works of art and perhaps begin a portfolio.
Classes are small and personal attention allows students to explore
their own personal style.
